With a 360° rotation function and an electric brake operated by a foot pedal, the doctor can easily turn the patient to examine the other ear. The foot pedal is used to lock and release the seat rotation so that your hands are always free, thereby providing a more ergonomic working position. Note that the frame of the chair has no castors and rests on the floor, in the same way as a swivel chair. This makes rotation extremely smooth.
The flat frame with no protruding chair legs makes it easy to get up close to the patient while also making the chair extremely stable.
The low back and the option for quickly moving the headrest makes it easy to perform the Epley manoeuvre. The headrest can also be adjusted in various positions and is available in several different designs.
Both the seat height and the backrest are controlled electrically, and the backrest moves a very long way forward when raised, while the calf support moves a very long way in. The armrests follow the motion of the chair all the way down to a lying position, and the chair can be moved right the way down to shock position. The armrests are removed easily when stepping in from the side.
